gl offline load problems

Can anyone out there help me with an issue using GL offline load function. I am using release 6 an I am attempting to upload GL transactions for payroll. I have created the offline load file according to the GL user guide and when I attempt the load process, a batch gets created; however there are no records in the batch, the batch is left active, and the report generated indicates an invalid account number for sequence #0. The account numbers are right justified, with leading blanks(they are valid acct numbers). All numeric values have leading zeros. I contacted infor for support they looked at the upload file and indicated that it looked correct but could not offer any more assistance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
