Weston this is what E:INFO says

Check your spool file for report AMV5CRP 'Data Entry Backup Validation'. This
report lists all batches and their current status that must be changed before
the backup will proceed.

NOTE: AR Cash Receipt batches must be Finished
NOTE: IM Online batches must be Finished
NOTE: PUR Online Processing batches must be Finished
NOTE: REP batches must be Finished

It is important to check AMV5CRP since report showed an invalid batch status for
an inventory batch. The batch status was 'c' instead of 'C'. This did not show
up when displaying data entry file status through inquiry

Go to CAS > Inquiry > 3. Data Entry File Status to show list of active,
suspended, closed or finished batches for each application

thanks
pete

Weston--- Silly question: Are you having problems getting dedicated mode
for your backups?

Are you using AP/AR/GL or IFM?

You do need to have your IM batches closed out, but you can do that with a
little RPG pgm.
