Re: New ISeries - Old Twinax

No go on the baluns. Those just replace the twinax cable. That's Twinax to
block to twisted pair into a balun screwed into a twinax device. It is still
twinax.The new IBM Power 7 systems DO NOT SUPPORT twinax of any kind at all.

You will need an intelligent Ethernet/ IP to twinax converter. Something
that will accept and convert the print stream.
