"We are at release 6 and release items to PDM, therefore I use ITMREL to get the current item released, then get the item process for that item to look up BOM's or routings." I also thought about using that table but I already found out that during these years, people were learning about the "release to PDM" function and sometimes they released revisions to PDM that they should not have. In many cases, revisions that were not the current ones. They have better discipline today but due to the historical facts, taking that route will not inspire me too many hopes to have accurate info.
