Hi Alan: We had the same issue so we developed an application that creates a label that we put on the product as it comes off the production line against the MO. We then update all Mapics files by creating a RM transaction in the TRDATA file which is a file in the PMC application. We are on version XA 7.7, green screen and PowerLink. We are manually keying all of our RM's at the end of the day after our packing department shift is complete. As things are complete we have a person writing down the items, and accumulating the paperwork during the day. After the shift is complete, all of the paperwork is accumulated and given to a person to manually enter the RM's. How has anyone else created a more effecient process, to get the RM's entered in more real-time so that we don't have shipping inventory issues.
