Just so I am clear, you are setting up the COM Item Cross Reference so that whether a customer uses the GTIN no. or the regular product number the regular product no. gets used internally? Did you consider using a user defined field in Item Revision so that you can use either one or both, say for labeling? We have several customers who are using GTIN numbers. Most are using these codes as their item #'s. So we are setting up item cross reference tables in COM to handle this.
