I'm not sure if you want to print interactively or in batch, so I will
relay what I recall of this from the past.

Acrobat tends to remember the last document size, so look at alternatives
such as Foxit.

If printing interactively, set document size to 11X17, then keep Acrobat
open and continually feed print jobs.
As soon as you terminate Acrobat, it will forget the document size.

Another method is to create a DEFAULT printer who's document size is 11X17,
I believe then it will remember the size. However, if this is a network
que, then the printer must be defined as 11X17 on the server. (So whether
local or on server, you will have two printers (ques) defined going to same
device, except one is 8.5X11, the other 11X17).

You can print in batch by making a 'runtime' version of Acrobat 4.X.
(Install it on an old PC, then copy and drop the Reader folder on your
XP/W7 pc) You can script documents to print to particular ques with parms
defining paper size and such. It was a pain to setup, but once I got the
syntax right it worked perfectly. I may have a copy of the process
somewhere if you want it.
