Mapics Backup, Continuous Ops, 24/7 processing questions

Hoping Someone can Help me Our company has the need to have our system available 24/7 for processing with downtime windows being extremely limited. We are exploring an upgrade into a new box for upgrade processes. With that in mind we are examining using MIMIX to put the data to another partition which would allow us to backup from there and not interfere with the normal processes. However this is not a HA option. We are not looking to have two SYSTEMS and be able to switch back and forth, Just the ability to save our data from a second partition.
