I use the concatenate formula, but with text it should work also

=CONCATENATE(A1)  into cell B1 or, even better
=TRIM(UPPER(CONCATENATE(A1)))  which sets all to upper case and removes leading and following unwanted space char.

I have 15 character item numbers with alpha numeric data.  Some of those numbers are converted to data like this 2.1E+007 using Excel addin to upload spreadsheet to iSeries.  What do I need to do to the spreadsheet before importing to iSeries?
