I have also replaced the standard XA AR Invoices with a complete change to the format.  Not only did I make it 8x11, I also made it so that it would summarize the lines instead of the format of Invoice on one line, payments and/or adjustments on additional lines.  If the customer wants all the details, I can select to have all the details print instead.  And finally, I made it so I can print statements at any time then keep the data in non-XA database for the auditors to access.  Any statement can be printed from prior months without any hassles.  
 
When you incorporate all this with any forms package, you can the email it, fax it or print and mail it.
