Although there's something I'm not getting.
I've looked and worked witth the QDBRTVFD API and I haven't seen anywhere anything about the FLDA0200 format.
 
My impression is that QDBRTVFD is more like what the DSPFD would bring back.
 
The 4 different format allowed are
FILD0100File definition templateFILD0200Format definition templateFILD0300Key field information templateFILD0400Trigger information template
 
Nothing about the fields except for record format level information like key fields, select/omits, join fields etc...
 
Thanks for your offer but, no offense intended, we would rather write something ourselves rather than installing a service program.
