You just mean this mailing list, right?   The open-source projects
that I'm involved in have had lots of activity.

I fail to see a message in Mr. Ross' thread that was not respectful.
Where is he getting "blistered", exactly?

He said he had not worked on an open-source project and he wanted to
document the steps.  I tried to explain to him that the steps he had
taken were different from most open-source projects.  I felt that if he
was trying to learn the process, he'd find that information useful.

It was never intended to be criticism, it was intended to be
instructional.

I still don't see the "slam".  But if you want to put a pox on me, great,
have a blast.

Cool, now I can add "Up Everyone's" to my list of memorable quotes from
Craig Rutledge.  That means it can go beside things like "screw FTP!
IFS chills up my spine" and "Rip you a new a--hole".  And the ever popular
"rape his wife and steal his livestock, (or vice-versa) while he lays
there bleeding to death."

All of which have occurred within the 11 total messages that Mr. Rutledge
has posted to this list.
