Re: do not disable my list please

If Unix, Linux, MS, etc aren't enough pressure already...

The only way IBM would handle pressure from Open Source os/400 is either:
a)  Through IBM legal
b)  Failing that, try to sell services.

   I know it,too. 

   Is it possible to expect IBM will open the sorce of
OS/400
     itself without any charge?

   No .it will not happen . Of course I don't think
so.

   I have never ever dreamed of making the OS/400 for 

   myself  and not expected somebody even try to do
so.

   My point was If there are many free software(or
open 

  source) FOR   OS/400 then it will be the potential
pressure

  to go to the right way. so just let wait a little
bit more.

  As I said before,  it depend on you. disable the
mailing 

  list . I know it has almost no traffic, 

    I will never blame you or anybody even if it gone
forever

   but I remember the lesson of  the movie

 " Dead poets society"
