I still have to "get it together" in a "package", and
there'll be some "kludging" for anybody that uses it.

I don't have anywhere I can host it at this time.

As to TMKMAKE and Ant, I've just started getting into C++
(to do Java afterward), and I don't know about TMKMAKE yet.

I also started at one place first with setting up precisely
a source member to contain the compile logic, but then so
many times there were overrides and other kinds of
functions. The database compiles have to pick up the names
of the appropriate libraries from a data area, and sometimes
I like to have different values for the test compile. Like
DBGVIEW(*ALL) or (*LIST) for a compile over test, and
(*SOURCE) or ? into Production.  A couple of PF re-compiles
had to do very particular manipulations on the data (Y2K was
an example of this), and re-copies, etc. It got tiring to
keep the two source members always coordinated (parameters
conflicting, etc.), so I just did the "embedded" thing so I
could maintain it all right there.
