I think just having sufficient memory on the system (assuming your system is
not churning away at 80% CPU all the time, then more CPU might be needed)
with proper work management in place is most important.  Keeping up on PTF
groups (particularly Java, HTTP, and Database) is important.  Otherwise it's
like any other development project, if you pay attention to performance when
you're coding the software until it gets into heavy load it should be OK.

Jon's comment about needing some JAVA and WAS skills should not be
overlooked.  They are important.
