Thanks Nadir, I will check on that PTF (V7R3 with all the latest groups as of 10 days ago loaded) It looks like it's reporting 2.6 version of IWS. This is the response from SoapUI: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Date: Fri, 08 Oct 2021 15:19:39 GMT Server: Apache Content-Length: 525 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <TITLE>500 Internal Server Error</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY> <H1>Internal Server Error</H1> <P>The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.</P> <P>Contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. </P> <P>More information about this error may be available in the server error log.</P> </body></html> Then 404. So clearly the program is crashing, and I have to fix it. I'm just not sure what to fix. -- Jim Oberholtzer Agile Technology Architects -----Original Message----- From: WEB400 <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Nadir Amra Sent: Friday, October 8, 2021 9:51 AM To: Web Enabling the IBM i(AS/400 and iSeries) <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [WEB400] IWS service logging failures First, do you issue the request and what do you see as response message? There is a problem (PTF forthcoming) with IWS logging in that it does not print out web service implementation problems when processing output data, but it will send it out to the client issuing the request. If that is not the problem, then you should be seeing something in the IWS server log in messages.log. Otherwise, I would suggest you load latest IWS PTFs (listed below) and redeploy the web service.
