Jay, The way you're asking your question, and the way you're describing your web service seems confusing to me. "Blocking Excessive API Calls?"; although ended with a question mark, that sounds more like a statement. What software do you suspect might be "blocking" your API calls? Your external HTTP server? Your PHP server? An external router? What server is doing the logging that you're referring to? If we assume that you're referring to your HTTP server and the logs generated by it, then I would assume that the logs are showing HTTP "requests"; Not "updates" to the database. Are you saying that only 20 requests appear in the log? That's such a small amount, that it begs the question, what do you mean by "excessive". Some HTTP sites process thousands of requests per second. Are you asking about an HTTP configuration directive that restricts the number of requests? Nathan.
