Hi Jon,

I have a utility available in iSeries to start/stop the IWS
Servers/services (which I am using Shell commands to do from the RPGLE
program). Most of the users will be having access to this utility.

Now to execute the shell commands the users should have either ALLOBJ and
IOSYSCFG authority which we are not providing this authority to all the
users or the user should have a minimum operator level access for the IWS
servers.

I am coming up with a new iSeries option in the utility to grant operator
level access, which I am thinking about how I can achieve this in the RPGLE
program.

Regards,
Suren
