Mark, I didn't insatllate Eisntein on my iPad, because I have too many Newtons! And I like to use them too much:-) But I use Einstein a lot on my Macs to communicate with NTK (Newton's development tool)… If I were you, I would try (if you have a recent Mac at your disposal) to use NCX, because we can communicate with NCX on the network on port 3679, just install the.pkg (that are in the NCX folder): Dock_TCP-1.2-in.pkg EthernetDock.pkg On your version of Einstein and use "Dock" as you do with NCU by choosing Connect via: TCP/IP and configuring the IP address of your Mac on which NCX is running. I’ve was able to get a build for iOS iPad Mini and it looks and works great! Sound and all. I was wondering, how do I transfer all the 500+ notes from my Newton MessagePad 2100 to my new shinny install of Einstein? I thought of backing up notes to NCU and then trying to restore that file via Einstein with a serial connection. I also am playing with X-port. Seems you can export all your notes, > > Any other options?
