Hi Frank, Everyone on the list are sending their best wishes to you. I myself have been absent from the list for quite some time as well, for various personal reasons I won’t bore you with. I fully appreciate and understand your situation, as mental health issues feature quite prominently in my family. The real issue with mental health is that is doesn’t have the same priority as physical health issues; the focus (particularly in the UK) is on what can be seen, can be treated. Often the burden is left with family members (frequently one member) to pick up the pieces, more often than not alone and without support or respite. No amount of advice or commiserations will ever lessen the burden, physically, emotionally and psychologically. You struggle single-handedly, with no recognition. However, saying that, you are recognised and appreciated, Frank. I remember the help you gave me years ago when I was based in Sydney with my Newton 2000 backlight. We exchanged communications and parcels. Your generous character was there from the beginning and the Newton community stretched across the globe just a little bit further. Thanks, Frank. You do what you have to do. In spirit, Rob Moody Sent from my iPhone > On 19 May 2019, at 11:05, <[email protected]> <[email protected]> wrote: > > Frank, > > Thanks for being so candid.
