I am jumpy about this one. For example, I can imagine a site where you bounce between "test" and "production" ARK-ing by changing profiles. Having it automagically go to one thing *might* be disastrous... I actually do *not* set ARK_PROFILE in my personal .profile. I would rather be yelled at for not setting it, so that I *think* about what I'm about to do.
