shared library dependency hell

Folks:

for a story about gnucash's dependency on 60 (!) different shared libraries.

Arusha/ARK (aside:  I'm never sure when to use which) is far, far from that
sort of shared library dependency hell, but it's something to keep in mind
as Arusha/ARK moves heavenward.

Thanks, Jonathan for (apparently) removing the separate PyXML requirement.
