updates 2001.06.24

Folks, just to let you know of signs of life at ARK
Central...  There have been a few bits dribbling into the
CVS repositories at SourceForge, some from me and some from
Matt.  I can't think of anything that would rouse the
interest of the general reader (and I think most of the
non-general readers are on ark-commits, and *know* what's
been checked in :-).  Matt may have a more riveting tale.  I
will be away the first part of the week, but should still
see e-mail.
