updates 2001.09.02

Folks, I've just checked in the usual random collection of
bits into CVS (i.e. whatever I had lying around).

There's really nothing notable in this bunch, but I thought
you might want to know that we're still alive here at ARK
Central, we're just emerging from a flurry of paper hacking,
and Matt is still working up the courage to speak to that
woman in his Spanish class.

(OK, I made up some of that.)

One offer I've not made before: if anyone out there would
like to "talk through" the glasli1 site (i.e. a real
ARK-ified site), we could arrange a connection through VNC
(so you can see our/my screen) at the same time as you phone
in (so we/I can explain what you see on the screen).  Our
track record of explaining this stuff "live" is better than
our record with the written word...  Holler if interested.
