I am basically cool with this, except I would like to add

       <entry name="mac-address">00:02:e3:1f:a7:0b</entry>

so I can generate DHCP entries, too.

Anybody else want to chip in before the hacking starts :-?
(Sound of sleeves rolling up...)

(Before going further: I should probably apologize for the
over-simple <ip-addresses> field. I *knew* it wouldn't
"scale" to realistic situations, but I decided to wait 'til
those arose, rather than pre-guess what people would want to
do.)

I'll need to think about this a bit. A hack would be to
have hostname.if1.tmpl, hostname.if2.tmpl, ... where they
just bottle out ("raise ark.error.TemplateSkipped") if the
machine doesn't actually have that many interfaces.
