no, i am correct.  gentoo's and debian's manpages for busybox starts
out with:

NAME
       BusyBox - The Swiss Army Knife of Embedded Linux

SYNTAX
        busybox <applet> [arguments...]  # or

        <applet> [arguments...]          # if symlinked


if your dist does something different, then it is a non-typical change
to the normal bb behaviour.
