It's still not getting stuck under these conditions.  That probably
means timing matters, and running `cc1` under `strace` is slowing things
down enough that the problem doesn't trigger.  This only makes sense if
the bug is indeed in the shared-folder software.

At this point I have to advise you to take the problem to the authors of
the shared-folder software.  No one else can help you any further.
