Follow-up Comment #1, sr #111067 (group autoconf):

I would consider this low priority, because Gnulib — which has about 1000
portability tests and supports macOS versions from 10.5 to 26 — has not
needed this Availability.h in a single place.

In other words, this "ifdef dance" with MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED and
MAC_OS_X_VERSION_MAX_ALLOWED appears to be overkill for most uses.
