Follow-up Comment #4, sr #111272 (group autoconf):

Find attached an updated patch that properly deals with older versions of
'autopoint' as well, as requested by Zack Weinberg in
https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gettext/2025-07/msg00030.html:

When it notices that such an older version would fail, instead of invoking
'autopoint', it prints


autoreconf: configure.ac: not running autopoint because it is too old


Note: When autopoint is old but it would not fail, autoreconf does invoke it.
