ase.   =0A=0ATake an older pkg which doesn't compile with latest GCC (for e=
xample=0Agrub-2.04.tar.xz). The usual workaround for this kind of problem=
=0Ais to compile the pkg like so:=0A=0A./configure --disable-werror CC=3D"g=
cc -std=3Dgnu11"=0A=0Aor=0A=0ACC=3D"gcc -std=3Dgnu11" ./configure --disable=
-werror =0A=0ABoth of these invocations no longer work after running `autor=
econf -vfi` on=0A2.73=0A=0AWhat happens is the CC definition ends up define=
d as:=0A=0ACC =3D gcc -std=3Dgnu11 -std=3Dgnu23=0A=0AWhich is obviously not=
