   Hi Zack. Actually, this code is the final part of Zsnes`s Zlib
   detection routine. As I tested the previous code extensively, I am
   fairly convinced that the problem lies in the piece that it is in my
   message.



   Anyway, I attached the configure script and also a bzipped tarball.

     It looks to me like you've quoted the *generated* autoconf code. Can

     please show us the source code? Note that the problem may be very
