Here's the test-suite.log of 1.18.1 with autoconf 2.72, m4 1.4.21,
perl 5.42.2 on NetBSD.
Thanks for the report, but I'm afraid I don't really know what to do
about any of them.
The first failure starts with:
aclocal.m4:17: warning: this file was generated for autoconf 9999a.
That looks like it's finding an autoconf prerelease, not the released 2.72?
I see failures relating to install-info. Could the "other" install-info
be getting found, not the one that's part of GNU Texinfo?
Other failures relate to m4 files in mysterious-to-me ways.
Unfortunately I can't eyeball the logs and understand what's going
on, and I have no effective way to debug on netbsd. Maybe you
or someone else here will have an idea of how to proceed.
Thanks/sorry,
Karl
