It's not really "However". Also, it needs to be clear that if
--aclocal-path is specified. How about:

 This variable is ignored if the @{--ac-local-path} option is specified.

It seems you've sometimes replaced ACLOCAL_PATH with --aclocal-path.
But ACLOCAL_PATH still exists. So it seems like both should be
mentioned.  You do that in some places, but didn't seem like all.
