yes, it really seems to be a secret. ;-) I do use inetd but after a mounth
or a few days more afbackup-client does not work anymore on my server. The
client processes do work on my two other clients although the client
process does not work on the server. I've already been searching for an
inetd problem and suppose that the inetd is the problem. I'm not sure if
the afclient does not work anymore because the inetd-process has been
restartet.

Do you know what can be changed after a restart of inetd?

Greetings,

Olli
