Error: Cannot read file "/var/lib/afbackup/num"

Hi,

I have installed the debian package afbackup-3.3.7pl6-4. For testing I
want to backup to disk instead of tape. I configured the server as
described in the HOWTO.

3. How to store the backup in a filesystem instead of a tape ?

After backing up a single file, I want to restore it with afrestore -h
$myhost -C /tmp /tmp/test, but I always get the following error.

Error: Cannot read file "/var/lib/afbackup/num".

I googled for this error message, but didn't find any answer yet.

Any ideas?
