Hi there!

This is my first mail to this list. Hello everybody.

I had the same question. What in the hell means the error code given in
the e-mail? Well... I tried to find it.

Having a look on the code of afbackup, I find that the error is
something like 128+interrupted, and I think interrupted is the signal
code. So, 141 means "PIPE", what may be possible (the tape is full). I
have more codes: 134 means "ABRT", when I kill afbackup. As you can see,
it may be possible.

You can know what kind of error it means by executing: "kill -l" (It is
not necessary substract 128 to the error number). For Example:
    $ kill -l 141
    PIPE
    $

If you have any question, you can find all the codes at
/usr/include/bits/signum.h


It is possible for me to be wrong, so I hope you to help me too.


NOTE: I'm using GNU/Linux and I assume you are too. I use Debian, so if
you use other distributions, you can find some differences.
