Both detect that FALLOC_FL_PUNCH_HOLE is available, but for some reason in rsync-bpc the reference to that macro fails. It would be easiest if I had access to a CentOS6 machine, but I don't. Could you send me the following 6 files please (just directly, not to the list): - config.log for rsync-bpc and rsync - config.h for rsync-bpc and rsync - output of make for rsync-bpc and rsync Thanks, Craig On Sat, Oct 17, 2020 at 6:15 PM Richard Shaw <[email protected]> wrote: > Craig, > > Any more input/advice on this? > > Thanks, > Richard > >> _______________________________________________ > BackupPC-devel mailing list > [email protected] > List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-devel > Wiki: https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/wiki > Project: https://backuppc.github.io/backuppc/ > --0000000000004ccc6105b1f4f13c Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">Richard,<div><br></div><div>Sorry about the delay in follo= wing up.=C2=A0 rsync-bpc and rsync have very similar configuration=C2=A0scr= ipts, and we need to find out why one fails but the other works.=C2=A0 Both= detect that=C2=A0<span style=3D"color:rgb(0,0,0);white-space:pre-wrap">FAL= LOC_FL_PUNCH_HOLE is available, but for some reason in rsync-bpc the refere= nce to that macro fails.</span></div><div><br></div><div>=C2=A0It would be = easiest if I had access to a CentOS6 machine, but I don't.</div><div><b= r></div><div>Could you send me the following 6 files please (just directly,= not to the list):</div><div><ul><li>config.log for rsync-bpc and rsync</li= ><li>config.h for rsync-bpc and rsync</li><li>output of make for rsync-bpc = and rsync</li></ul><div>Thanks,</div></div><div>Craig</div></div><br><div c= lass=3D"gmail_quote"><div dir=3D"ltr" class=3D"gmail_attr">On Sat, Oct 17, = 2020 at 6:15 PM Richard Shaw <<a href=3D"mailto:[email protected]">ho= [email protected]</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class=3D"gmail_quote= " style=3D"margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);= padding-left:1ex"><div dir=3D"ltr"><div>Craig,</div><div><br></div><div>Any= more input/advice on this?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Rich= ard</div><div class=3D"gmail_quote"><blockquote class=3D"gmail_quote" style= =3D"margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding= -left:1ex"> </blockquote></div></div> _______________________________________________<br> BackupPC-devel mailing list<br> <a href=3D"mailto:[email protected]" target=3D"_blank">B= [email protected]</a><br> List:=C2=A0 =C2=A0 <a href=3D"https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/= backuppc-devel" rel=3D"noreferrer" target=3D"_blank">https://lists.sourcefo= rge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-devel</a><br> Wiki:=C2=A0 =C2=A0 <a href=3D"https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/wiki" re= l=3D"noreferrer" target=3D"_blank">https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/wik= i</a><br> Project: <a href=3D"https://backuppc.github.io/backuppc/" rel=3D"noreferrer= " target=3D"_blank">https://backuppc.github.io/backuppc/</a><br> </blockquote></div> --0000000000004ccc6105b1f4f13c-- --===============3604718071786649361== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline --===============3604718071786649361== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ BackupPC-devel mailing list [email protected] List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-devel Wiki: https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/wiki Project: https://backuppc.github.io/backuppc/ --===============3604718071786649361==--
