Oops one error  I made is regarding packages. I misread something 
and perl-SGCI is not in the Mageia, SUSE and Fedora packages I mentioned 
although it is in the Debian package libscgi-perl and that would require 
a bit of conversion to make it into a suitable RPM. My apologies.

Before building you could install the SCGI module from CPAN with

'cpanm --verbose SCGI' that is assuming you have cpanm installed.

By the way the GIT history I mentioned is correct.
