I was able to identify the backup numbers based on your suggestions. But got stuck on the sharename. When I ran (as backuppc) /usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC_ls -h localhost -n 0 -s /etc It just gave me usage instructions. I tried putting the sharename in single quotes, too but that didn't work. I am sure that is the sharename for the default localhost backup, as that is what it is in my new installation (using tar). So not critical since I have most things working, but I never like to leave myself stumped.
