Well, PostgreSQL has the "IF EXISTS" option for "DROP TABLE":

Shows:
	DROP TABLE [ IF EXISTS ] name [, ...] [ CASCADE | RESTRICT ]

Might just apply it here - oops, too late!  It's after 0:01, away the 
backups go!!  Tomorrow  :-)
