It really is quite straight-forward. Configuring the ini-file, starting the service, configuring Apache/Nginx to do the pass-through, done. I guess you may want to disable the integrated issue tracker and wiki because you have external solutions for this. Also disabling the self-registration of users may be wise in your context. And unless you want to add hundreds of users to the instance you can even keep the default SQLite database backend.
