All I can do is to reiterate my desire to see the Qt console continue to 
be supported and maintained (and its bugs fixed).  I *hate and detest* 
the "Everything is a web page" metaphor.  Contrary to widespread belief, 
a web browser *is not* the best of all possible interfaces.

(In fact, the baggage that a web browser drags along to what should be a 
standalone application is often utterly infuriating.)
