Thanks once again to Andrew Loftus for help solving a bug, complex and difficult to reproduce. Thanks to Ron Lockwood-Childs for investigations, feedback and suggestion about dar behavior with negative dates. Cheers, Denis Corbin ------- from 2.5.11 to 2.5.12 * documenting in man page the limitation of -[ and -] options concerning the maximum line length that could be used in a listing file. This limitation was only described in doc/Limitations.html * dar now aborts if a line exceeding 20479 bytes is met in a listing fil e * improved error message issued when a file listing (-[ or -] option) is missing for it provides the missing filename in the error message * improved error message issued when a line of a file listing exceeds 20479 characters for it display the start of that line * fixed bug in file listing (-[ option) leading some directories and the ir content to be excluded in a somehow rare condition * improved behavior when dar reads a negative date. Instead of aborting it now asks the user if it can substitute such value by zero * improved behavior when dar is asked to read an archive located in a directory that does not exist. DUC file passed to -E option is now properly run in that case too and has the possibility for example to create that directory and download requested file --itqvvh3KnXMCJC9bO1E8tSA1KS5eUKWtM-- --4od34uxqOJ2gNCI0Tj6dPu64JeGc48pGl Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIVAwUBWaq1jAgxsL0D2LGCAQg4eBAAmKJL/G4cuFIzHEXFXoG8Xvpq2gD3kYfo Xzg6l2xlfSB5ykxVqbKvXWl6o5kuPyvESM0AcSn5ZbvIJHEcJK+3rOcCPs6sbx4R dJFTW/eyAV4SHoHggZ+H4Yg/9Pk+SvosEYDJI1NCiEJMDiIsE9PKpTnIrqgSTkiq a3Q+CCxsqL+flTku32zagTwAu0S2pK9lusqteh7kSLdZ2P8EmQLfTV8GNOOEocKx fEvliRtZ9qD1wBIeKQIhs6D9zXm5hXvmUYhLhJqMYT5BkbjaYhZgpFhiFLqJ5OPZ UDaOjIrmT5boeN+bBSB4fxmHBkGHcIfFpqh1jPcQwk+cirT+mkiFAPBhDYyLvBrK kyywUKQ34+EY64Ao0iNL4zPoNSjqBl+gvFa3sKfWyagqP/Pj4B3qxPLdQxS/6vh5 WWistsBzf0hGWTdDathsZWXKAypHohRpCjNBnDmgKQRygrQUJXSgK+8zilDRqjNU k6+yFtIGHREs82Nxb3l+7W8sfa2mmVYJHKy/C3J7e1HmFJ0P8p/FQJpFynsslSWM hFPT9TntssAYaI/7R1Ny8Kix2ny64IK/V9u4rbA24qsaS40PPVFSs8g8Dxb9piuY VI6+dlGjKItve+O3b3YOb/v8k6YGs/6rIW0KO57JnezwG8CzCZNYB3x/zNbguNVt NFIP2VI75F4= =VdWv -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --4od34uxqOJ2gNCI0Tj6dPu64JeGc48pGl-- --===============6529962518731441399== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot --===============6529962518731441399== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ Dar-news mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dar-news --===============6529962518731441399==--
