Denis, I am interested in rewriting the crypto subsystem (including tronconneuse.cpp and crypto.cpp). A new design would allow for more flexible encryption options for dar_suite and libdar users. Specifically public key encryption and multiple encryption passphrases (for encrypting to multiple users with different passphrases and/or public keys) would be more easily implemented with a new design. The rewrite I am envisioning would also change the dar file format. The archive_header would be affected. Are you interested in discussing how the new design would work before I write it, or should I just go ahead and make an implementation?
