The -ac/-aa default behavior has been inverted in CVS trunk (-aa is now the default) thus your documentation patch has all its place beside this modification, and will be released one day under version 2.4.0 for the rest of your patch (merged in CVS branch_2_3_x) it will be available before july under minor release 2.3.1.
