That's a joke, right? ;^) Here's my exclusion list (additions are welcome):


# set compression to gzip, minimum level, fast but effective
- -z1
# exclude already compressed file types from compression
- -Z avi
- -Z bz2
- -Z cz
- -Z flac
- -Z gif
- -Z gz
- -Z h5
- -Z i586
- -Z jar
- -Z jpeg
- -Z jpg
- -Z mov
- -Z mp3
- -Z mpeg
- -Z mpg
- -Z ogg
- -Z pdb
- -Z pdf
- -Z png
- -Z rar
- -Z rpm
- -Z swf
- -Z tgz
- -Z wav
- -Z zip

That's all stuff that I know of, or that I found on my disk and verified it
doesn't compress well.

Speed of backup is important, otherwise it doesn't get done. :^)
