So is there a way for us to retrieve only those needed files ( or slices containing them) from the remote host instead of everything? Note: I've tried dar-manager but it seems to need access to the whole backup. However, in my case, I can only download slices first from remote first to access them. --000325574bc25671070496382404 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable I am trying to use DAR to back up my whole system to a remote host (or S3).= From time to time, I might need to retrieve some files from the remote hos= t and I don't want to download the whole backup every time since it'= ;s big( > 1T).=A0 So is there a way for us to retrieve only those needed= files ( or slices containing them) from the remote host instead of everyth= ing?

Note: I've tried dar-manager but it seems to need access to the who= le backup.
