Hi, I have found this note in dar 2.4.0 release notes: * an isolated catalogue can now be used as backup of the original archive's internal catalogue (-A option in conjunction with -x option for example) Can anybody explain what does it mean to me? Does it mean I no longer need the last slice when restoring content of another slice? I have tried (ubuntu 10.10, dar 2.4.1 installed through ppa:polslinux/polmaver) but dar still requires the last slice at first: dar -x archive -A CAT_archive -g sample seems to be same as dar -x archive -g sample Or is there any other way to restore content (using isolated catalogue) when the last slice is totally lost?
