This is a Unix limitation, changing the mtime of a symlink lead the
modification of the mtime of the file targeted by that symlink. So dar
does not try to restore date of symlink (same thing with atime if I
remember well).

You point the fact that this information should be present in the
"limitations" page ( http://dar.linux.free.fr/doc/Limitations.html ) I
will fix that.
