I've tested it, first I did not noticed the checkbox and the operation
failed because no encryption was given (of course). The error message
did properly show, nice thing. Then I could easily find this check box
and could provide the pass phrase to successfully open the encrypted
archive. Very nice!

I don't know whether you have planed to implement archive creation for
version 1.0, but I think it would be necessary to bring more people to
gdar in particular those not fan of command-line interface. Having
listing and extraction is very nice, though having also archive
creation (just full backup in a first time) would lead you having more
users. You may well not implement all the features, the more difficult
in terms of GUI is, I think, the filtering mechanisms if you want to
implement it with all its possibilities (for what I meet with
webdar...) but you can avoid provide filtering in a first time or just
provide a simple mechanism if you want...

anyway very happy to know gdar is becoming a very easy to use and
intuitive program over libdar, it gives sense to my work :)
